Tartistry exists because of my Mom, Margaret, born in 1921. She taught me to cook and bake and love cuisine and the art of cooking. That gift from her lead to the evolution of our ‘all butter all the time’ business. She always said “butter makes it better”. About 6 months ago we said goodbye to Margaret, in her 100th year. We had the joy of having her live with us in our house for the past almost 16 years. Our children grew up with her and we cherished her.
Four days before Margaret’s passing, we also lost our 13 year old German Shepherd, Gwen. It was a tough time.
But I would be remiss if I didn’t express my gratitude to the universe for the happiness Mom and Gwen brought to our family, to our souls. I also must thank my children, their partners and my husband, Stephen, for the endless support and love they provided to each other and to me. Thank you with all my heart.
Finally, over the almost 9 years Tartistry has existed, we have gained a beloved array of loyal customers and musicians, many of whom have become our friends. We thank all of them for their kindness and love.
With Warm Tart Regards,
